As of 2025, Vietnam has 327 artifacts and groups of artifacts recognized as national treasures. Of which, Ho Chi Minh City has 17 national treasures being kept at the Ho Chi Minh City Museum of History, Ho Chi Minh City Museum, Ho Chi Minh City Museum of Fine Arts and private collector Pham Gia Chi Bao.

This is a rare opportunity for the public to directly access rare heritages, reflecting the cultural depth and level of craftsmanship and fine arts of many ancient cultures such as Dong Son, Oc Eo, Champa to the modern period.

Notable artifacts include: Dong Duong Buddha statue (8th-9th century), Devi Goddess statue (10th century), Surya God statue and Durga Goddess statue (6th-8th century), Sa Dec Buddha statue (4th century), and artifacts associated with the resistance period such as the 5-dong credit note printing mold (1947), the “Luong Tai Hau Chi An” seal and two important works of art: “Spring Garden of Central, South and North” by painter Nguyen Gia Tri, “Thanh nien thanh dong” by painter Nguyen Sang.

Notably, on this occasion, the organizing committee also announced the Dong Son culture ceramic pot - an artifact from the private collection of Mr. Pham Gia Chi Bao, which has just been recognized by the Prime Minister as a National Treasure in 2024. This is the first private artifact in Ho Chi Minh City to achieve this title, with special significance in mobilizing socialization in the work of preserving and promoting cultural heritage.
