Usually, a prose work (story, essay, memoir, etc.) has a process of reaching the public through newspapers and other media. Few people can read a short story to their friends to enjoy, this form is only for personal feedback. Music, photos, and stage scripts will also spread more widely if they are printed and published in newspapers (print and electronic).

In the digital age, information channels, social networks, and individual artists can "self-publish" their works on their personal pages (zalo, facebook, viber...), but perhaps the best solution is still to rely on the press. With its own strengths and diverse audiences, the press is increasingly spreading literary and artistic life more widely and deeply. Portraits, lives and works of literary and artistic authors appearing in the press have invisibly reflected the atmosphere, as well as the form and content of literary and artistic life. At the same time, it depicts the spiritual world of a part of the public, fostering good values to the majority of people. Bac Giang press has persistently done such things for many years.
Newspapers and magazines are the places to publish and introduce literary and artistic works of authors. Readers can follow the growth and success of a writer they love. From the first poems and short stories of the past, perhaps now, that author is a famous poet or writer. Today, interestingly, through the internet, readers can interact directly with the editorial office or the author of the article. That increases the motivation for the author.

Readers through the press at one time knew about the works of famous writers such as: Nguyen Tuan, Nam Cao, Ngo Tat To, Vu Trong Phung, Nguyen Binh, To Hoai, Huy Can, Xuan Dieu... Later, there were poems and literary works that "go with the years", or carry the breath of the times of writers and poets: Nguyen Dinh Thi, Pham Tien Duat, Luu Quang Vu, Xuan Quynh, Nguyen Thi, Nguyen Minh Chau, Nguyen Trung Thanh, Bao Ninh, Trung Trung Dinh, Thanh Thao, Huu Thinh... Next, there was the opportunity to approach the works with a new, different breath of writers and poets: Viet Phuong, Nguyen Huy Thiep, Nguyen Quang Thieu, Nguyen Thi Thu Hue... and many other literary authors of the next generation, young authors.
Through the press, the public knows about the activities of art forms such as music , photography, fine arts, theater, etc. in each historical period that has its own values. There are public classes that create market segments in today's artistic life. The fields of performing arts, music, cinema and fine arts clearly demonstrate this. The press is also a place for readers to find information about the authors and works they love. Many art exhibitions sell a large number of paintings thanks to promotion in the press. Concerts can be packed and sold out because of information in the press.
It can be said that the press not only contributes to spreading the literary and artistic life but is also a friend, a place where artists and writers trust to send their creations. Personally, before becoming a writer, I had a number of works published in Bac Giang newspaper. Later, working at the editorial office of Song Thuong Magazine, I realized more clearly that the press, especially literary press, is truly a forum for authors who are passionate about and love literature and art. Currently, with 185 members of the Bac Giang Literature and Arts Association, up to 2/3 of the members have their works published and introduced in local and central newspapers.
Over the years, the province's press agencies such as Bac Giang Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station, and Song Thuong Magazine have always been places to spread literary and artistic works. Bac Giang Newspaper is published daily, and the weekend and month-end newspapers all have special pages dedicated to literature and art. Readers who follow it will see a fairly strong team of artists and writers in the province, with continuity and many encouraging achievements. The generation of literary authors who wrote during the anti-American resistance war includes: Ngo Dat, Tran Quyen, Trinh Dinh Chieu, Nguyen An Thu, Bui The Can, Te Nhi Can... A little later, there are Do Nhat Minh, To Hoan, Duy Phi, Anh Vu, Do Vinh... Following are Tan Quang, Nguyen Thi Mai Phuong, Van Thanh, Quang Dai... and a series of other young authors.
Readers know stage artists: Van Tan, Tran Thong, Huong Que, Hong Tinh, Thanh Nhan, Hung Viet, Thanh Hai, Quang Lam, Quynh Mai, Hong Lien…; photographers: Vuong Lam, Linh Giang, Nguyen Huu Thong, Viet Hung, Trung Uyen…; folk culture researchers: Nguyen Dinh Buu, Nguyen Xuan Can, Tran Van Lang, Nguyen Van Phong…; painters: Truong Dinh Hao, Van Ton, Luu The Han, Duy Lap, Vu Cong Tri, Bui Ngoc Lan…; musicians: Tran Minh, Ta Quang To, Luong Ngoc Chan, Tuan Khuong, Ba Dat, Ngoc Thach, Xuan Oanh… and many other artists. Architects specializing in architecture have also participated in the design and construction of many large projects in the province.
The literary and artistic life in the province is portrayed more vividly in the press through news and articles about photo festivals, art exhibitions, seminars, art talks, summaries of creative camps, etc.
In today's era, when artificial intelligence (AI) develops, it has changed the perception of most people. AI has replaced many things for humans, including some activities of writing, drawing, and composing, but there is one thing that AI cannot replace: the emotions from the artist's heart. Of course, AI cannot replace journalists when creating specific works, with an ontological and separate perspective. The press will still be the best propaganda tool, spreading knowledge to the public in all fields, especially spreading literary and artistic life to nurture the human soul, helping spiritual values to exist over time.
