During this peak period, Bac Ninh Police received and processed more than 6,100 applications for level 2 electronic identification accounts for foreigners, mainly of Korean, Chinese, Taiwanese (China) and Japanese nationality.

Nearly 1,000 businesses in the area have proactively coordinated to bring workers to register for electronic identification, which not only facilitates foreigners when carrying out administrative procedures, but also contributes to improving the effectiveness of State management on a digital platform.
To successfully implement the peak period, the Provincial Police Department has issued and deployed a specific plan to each unit. In particular, the Immigration Department is assigned to preside over, directly receive and process documents.
During the campaign, the Immigration Department, Provincial Police arranged convenient and reasonable reception points at places with a large concentration of foreigners such as wards: Kinh Bac, Vo Cuong, Bac Giang ... The department's officers and soldiers were strengthened by the leaders to work overtime and on weekends; coordinated with units to promote propaganda to each accommodation facility and business in the area about the location and time to receive documents so that foreigners understand the necessity of level 2 electronic identification.
After completing and using the electronic identification in daily work, Mr. Masahiro Odaka, General Director of A&D Vietnam Co., Ltd., VSIP Industrial Park shared: “Using this application is very convenient and interesting, I feel like a Vietnamese citizen, experiencing the same utilities as everyone else, I can carry out administrative procedures anytime, anywhere. The application supports foreign languages, so it is very easy to use, without language difficulties. And instead of having to carry original documents, now I only need to carry my phone, which is both convenient and safe. Our company can also submit documents and files online, helping to save time”.
Colonel Bui Chien Thang, Deputy Director of Bac Ninh Provincial Police, said: "In Bac Ninh, the number of foreigners continues to increase, not stopping at the current figure of more than 30,000 people. Therefore, we have directed the functional forces, mainly the Immigration Department, to coordinate with relevant units and local police to continue to propagate the importance of level 2 electronic identification for foreigners. The issuance of identification accounts will be carried out regularly, not only during peak times but will be maintained in the coming time."
Bac Ninh Provincial Police have successfully completed the peak of granting level 2 electronic identification accounts to foreigners, creating favorable conditions for them to access online public services and quickly exploit personal information. This activity contributes to promoting digital transformation, affirming the determination of the Ministry of Public Security to modernize administration.
