Agribank Kien Giang Province Branch trains in fire prevention, fire fighting, rescue and relief

(CTO) - On June 7, Agribank Kien Giang Branch coordinated with the Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue Police Department (PCCC and CHCN), Kien Giang Provincial Police to organize training on fire prevention and fighting (PCCC), rescue and rescue (CHCN) for nearly 100 officers and employees of the Branch.

The training session was organized to raise awareness and equip Agribank staff with necessary skills in responding to emergency situations, ensuring absolute safety for people and property. In her opening speech, Ms. Nguyen Hong Tham, Party Secretary and Director of Agribank Kien Giang Branch, emphasized the importance of fire prevention and fighting in the working environment, especially at a financial institution like Agribank. Equipping knowledge and skills in fire prevention and fighting and rescue not only helps protect the bank's assets but also ensures the safety of the lives of staff, employees, customers and the community.

Students are informed about legal regulations related to fire prevention and fighting and search and rescue work.

The training content includes theory and practice. In the theory part, trainees are informed about legal regulations related to fire prevention and fighting, common causes of fire and explosion, preventive measures and how to handle fire and explosion incidents. In particular, the content on first aid skills, escape and rescue of victims is also conveyed in a detailed and easy-to-understand manner.

The practical part is an important highlight, helping students apply the knowledge they have learned into practice. Under the guidance of fire prevention and fighting experts, students practice using on-site fire fighting equipment such as portable fire extinguishers, water hoses, and perform simulated situations such as escaping from a fire, rescuing victims, and safely moving assets.
