| Costa Serena cruise takes guests to Ha Long. |
(PLVN) - On the morning of October 18, the 5-star cruise ship Costa Serena carrying 3,040 Hong Kong (China) tourists docked at Ha Long International Passenger Port.
Travel agencies and ports have organized pick-up and drop-off tours, introduced and promoted to tourists the unique sightseeing and tourism activities in Quang Ninh province. During this tour, tourists will have many exciting experiences at the world heritage - natural wonder of Ha Long Bay, visit Quang Ninh Museum, city tour to experience culture, cuisine and many other tourist attractions.
It is known that this is the second time in 2024 that the Italian cruise ship Costa Serena, famous for its journeys in Asia, will bring guests to Ha Long on the Hong Kong - Ha Long and Ha Long - Hong Kong routes.

According to statistics from the Department of Tourism, in 2024, Quang Ninh welcomed a total of 42 international cruise ships, bringing more than 50,000 visitors of many different nationalities to Ha Long. In the last months of the year, there will be about 13 more cruise ships, expected to bring more than 15,000 visitors to Quang Ninh. Of which, the Costa Serena cruise ship will return to Ha Long 3 more times on the Hong Kong - Ha Long - Hong Kong route.
On October 21, the Viking Orion ship will bring more than 1,000 European tourists to the province, marking the milestone of Quang Ninh welcoming 3 million international visitors in a year, completing the plan set out in Resolution No. 20-NQ/TU of the Provincial Party Committee on the province's directions and tasks for 2024.
With priority given to infrastructure investment, especially transportation and tourism infrastructure, constantly improving service quality, synchronously improving infrastructure, constantly innovating tourism products... Ha Long is becoming an attractive destination for international cruise ships, a red address in travel tours.
