Score distribution of History subject in high school graduation exam 2025

Among the elective subjects of the 2025 High School Graduation Exam, History is the subject chosen by the most candidates, with a total of nearly 500,000 candidates. The average History score of candidates nationwide is 6.52 points with 1,518 exams scoring 10 points.

According to the History score distribution analysis report published by the Ministry of Education and Training , this year, the average History score of candidates nationwide was 6.52 points. There were 1,518 candidates scoring 10 points, a decrease of nearly 600 10 points compared to 2024. The number of candidates scoring below average was more than 89,665, accounting for more than 18.6%.

Among the elective subjects, History was the most chosen by candidates with 499,357 candidates. Of these, 484,084 candidates took the exam under the 2018 GeneralEducation Program and 15,273 candidates took the exam under the 2006 General Education Program.

In terms of average score, Phu Tho is the province with the highest score in History, with 7,046 points. Next are Ninh Binh and Ca Mau . Phu Tho also leads the provinces and cities with the highest number of 10 points.
