The results of the implementation of the elimination last week showed that, by the end of June 7, 2025, An Giang province had completed the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses. This locality is expected to organize the announcement this June.
Thereby, the total number of localities with no more temporary or dilapidated houses nationwide is 21/63 localities.
Along with that, some localities continue to review the number of temporary and dilapidated houses that need support, such as Lang Son and Tien Giang .
Thus, after one month from May 7, 2025, there are 6 more localities nationwide that no longer have temporary or dilapidated houses.
The remaining 26 localities strive to complete this humanitarian program from July to October 2025.
According to reports from localities, the whole country has supported the elimination of 205,115 temporary and dilapidated houses (of which: 147,261 houses were inaugurated and 57,854 houses were under construction or under construction). Specifically:
Supported 28,014 houses for people with revolutionary contributions, of which 18,680 houses were inaugurated and 9,334 houses were under construction or under construction.
Supported 51,529 houses under 2 national target programs, of which 44,755 houses were inaugurated and 6,774 houses were under construction or under construction.
Supported 125,572 houses under the Temporary and Dilapidated House Elimination Program, of which 83,826 houses were inaugurated and 41,746 houses were under construction and under construction.
