200 households participate in training on classifying and reducing plastic waste

(Baothanhhoa.vn) - Responding to World Environment Day (June 5) and the 2025 Environmental Action Month with the theme "Fighting plastic pollution", on the morning of June 10, in Hoang Cat commune (Hoang Hoa), the Department of Agriculture and Environment (DARD) coordinated with the People's Committee of Hoang Hoa district to organize a training course on classifying and reducing plastic waste, composting easily decomposable waste into fertilizer, and reducing waste that needs to be treated for 200 households in Hoang Cat commune.

Currently, the problem of environmental pollution due to the ineffective collection and treatment of domestic solid waste is affecting the quality of people's lives. At the same time, disseminate knowledge about environmental protection, daily household waste treatment and guide people on the process of collecting, classifying and treating waste at households; fermentation techniques to treat household waste into organic fertilizer for agricultural production...
