On the afternoon of January 20, in Phuc Tho town, Phuc Tho district People's Committee coordinated with Hanoi City Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion to open the Spring Flower Fair, promoting craft village products and agricultural products to serve the 2024 Lunar New Year in the district.
The Fair to promote OCOP agricultural products associated with promoting local tourism in Phuc Tho district is an event assigned by the Hanoi People's Committee to the City Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center to chair, coordinate with the Phuc Tho District People's Committee and related units to organize at the Lan Chi Commercial and Self-service Shopping Center, Phuc Tho District, Hanoi City.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Bui Duy Quang, Deputy Director of the Hanoi City Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, said: The trade promotion fair linking tourism and local culture promotion in Phuc Tho district from January 19-23 has a scale of more than 110 booths: including 50 booths displaying, introducing and trading products of 70 enterprises from 19 provinces/cities and 03 common spaces to introduce and promote typical and typical products, craft villages, and promote tourism of localities (including Area to introduce typical and typical products, local OCOP products; Creative area, demonstration of craft village products; Local cuisine and culture demonstration area).

The fair has a scale of more than 100 booths, displaying and introducing more than 1,000 lines of agricultural products, processed foods, typical OCOP products of Phuc Tho district, Hanoi city and 27 provinces and cities nationwide; beautifully designed, staged in an open space with many typical agricultural and rural models and miniatures, linking agricultural tourism, bearing the local mark to attract visitors to visit and experience.

In addition, within the framework of the Fair, many practical activities will take place such as: Displaying flowers, ornamental plants and craft village products, agricultural products, OCOP products of Phuc Tho district, districts, towns in Hanoi and the northern provinces, as well as guiding businesses, households producing and trading craft village products, goods, agricultural products to apply information technology, sell products on social platforms; folk dance festivals, art performances, folk games...
The fair is a good opportunity for businesses and localities to promote OCOP agricultural products and promote local tourism during the 2024 Lunar New Year. This is an opportunity for consumers to visit, shop, and experience the traditional Vietnamese New Year culture. The fair attracted more than 50 units and enterprises from nearly 20 provinces and cities nationwide to participate. Some famous agricultural specialties such as: Ha Giang Shan Tuyet tea, Dien Bien rice, Muong Khuong chili sauce, Vu Dai village braised fish, Vinh oranges and many other typical agricultural products were present at the fair. In particular, the Fair has coordinated with Phuc Tho district to promote traditional craft village products here (sewing, carpentry, carpet weaving, etc.), thereby contributing to promoting the local economy and culture. |
