Sleeper bus carrying 27 passengers catches fire on National Highway 1A

A sleeper bus was traveling on National Highway 1A (through Lam Dong province) when it suddenly burst into flames, and passengers on board fled into the dark night.

By dawn on July 10, Lam Dong Provincial Police and other professional units had examined the scene and completed handling the scene of the sleeper bus fire.

Previously, late on July 9, a sleeper bus with license plate 34B-00379, driven by driver NVV (born in 1978), with 27 passengers on board, was traveling on National Highway 1A (through Hong Son commune, Lam Dong province) when it suddenly caught fire.

Discovering the car was on fire, the driver pulled the car over to the side of the road and shouted for passengers to escape.

Upon receiving the information, the Lam Dong Provincial Police Department mobilized 10 firefighters and 2 fire trucks to the scene to extinguish the fire.

About 1 hour after the incident, the authorities were able to control the fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties.

According to initial investigation, the fire started in the luggage compartment of the bus and then spread to the entire vehicle.
