Muong Lai Commune and Ban Xeo Commune: Many collectives and individuals achieved outstanding achievements in the period 2020 - 2025

To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, Muong Lai and Ban Xeo communes held a conference to honor advanced models in the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025.

In the period of 2020 - 2025, the patriotic emulation movement in Muong Lai commune was deployed synchronously and widely, creating a strong spread among the entire population, contributing significantly to socio -economic development, maintaining national defense and security, improving the effectiveness of state management and the quality of service to the people.

Many emulation movements are launched regularly, associated with the local political tasks such as: "Joining hands to build advanced new rural areas", "All people unite to build a cultural life", "Farming households compete to produce and do business well, unite to help each other eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, and enrich themselves legitimately"...

Comrade Du Manh Cuong - Chairman of Muong Lai Commune People's Committee spoke at the conference.

Total book revenue in the area in the period of 2020 - 2025 reached 68 billion VND. Total grain output reached 12,068 tons; total main livestock herd reached 25,605 heads; output of fresh meat of all kinds reached 1,860 tons; average new forest planting of 392 hectares/year; 7 3-star OCOP agricultural products were developed, an increase of 7 products compared to 2020; the rate of villages meeting cultural standards reached 97.5%; the rate of households meeting cultural standards reached 91.5%; the average poverty reduction rate in the period of 2021 - 2025 was about 1.5%/year, contributing to reducing the poverty rate of the commune to 2.46% in 2025.

In the period of 2025 - 2030, Muong Lai commune determined to continue to innovate and improve the quality of patriotic emulation movements. Discover, foster and replicate advanced models; strengthen propaganda and education on emulation and rewards; improve leadership, management and administrative reform capacity, build a team of dedicated, responsible and creative cadres and civil servants; apply information technology in emulation and reward management; increase digitization of records and data to improve efficiency and transparency in review and reward.

Comrade Ban Thanh Thao - Secretary of Ban Xeo Commune Party Committee spoke at the conference.

In the period of 2021-2025, Ban Xeo commune has effectively implemented emulation movements launched by the Prime Minister such as: "The whole country joins hands to build new rural areas", "For the poor", "Leave no one behind", special movements "Prevention and control of Covid-19", "The whole country joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in 2025" and "Cadres, civil servants and public employees compete to practice office culture". The movements have mobilized the combined strength of the entire political system and the people, contributing to socio-economic development, building new rural areas, sustainable poverty reduction, ensuring social security, and maintaining national defense and security.

Over the past 5 years, the commune has achieved many outstanding results: The economic structure has shifted positively, budget revenue has increased many times, rural infrastructure has been invested synchronously, 12 OCOP products have been maintained; the poverty rate has decreased sharply, 100% of poor households have been granted health insurance cards, 238 temporary and dilapidated houses have been eliminated; the quality of education, health care, culture, and spiritual life of the people have been improved; political security, social order and safety are stable.

Attention has been paid to propaganda, building and replicating advanced models. The whole commune has had over 550 typical models in labor, production, building cultural life, solidarity to help each other escape poverty, contributing to spreading the patriotic emulation movement; the commendation work has been increasingly innovated, focusing on timely commendation of collectives and individuals directly involved in labor, production and work at the grassroots level.

This is a timely recognition and encouragement for collectives and individuals who have made many positive contributions to the common development of the locality.
