Dak Lak determined to achieve growth target of 8% or more in 2025

The Provincial People's Committee has just issued an Action Program to implement key tasks and solutions to promote socio-economic development, ensure national defense and security of Dak Lak province (after the reorganization) with a growth target of 8% or more in 2025 (Program).

The program aims to continue to focus on effectively implementing socio -economic development tasks close to ensuring national defense and security; determined to complete the 2025 growth target of 8% or more, creating a solid foundation for double-digit growth in the following years.

The main targets set for 2025 are: economic growth in 2025 reaching 8% or more; GRDP per capita by the end of 2025 reaching 80 million VND/person; total social investment capital reaching 73,670 billion VND; total export turnover reaching 2,235 million USD; total state budget revenue in the province reaching 16,310 billion VND; construction of 2,800 social housing units; poverty rate reduced by 3% or more; job creation for about 55,800 people.

By the end of 2025, the rate of industrial parks and clusters in operation with centralized wastewater treatment systems that meet environmental standards will reach 100%; the rate of urban solid waste collected and treated will reach 92%...

To achieve the above targets, the Program has proposed key tasks and solutions. These include promoting the review, supplementation and improvement of institutions in conjunction with improving the effectiveness and efficiency of law enforcement; focusing on cutting and simplifying administrative procedures and business regulations, removing bottlenecks, creating favorable conditions for people and businesses; proactively researching, proposing policies and mechanisms, reporting to competent authorities to mobilize and flexibly and effectively use resources, promoting growth.

Prioritize strongly promoting economic growth drivers associated with maintaining economic stability and ensuring major balances.

Complete the organization and apparatus arrangement; strengthen decentralization, delegation of power, enhance the responsibility of leaders; further promote the work of preventing and combating corruption, waste, negativity, and group interests; tighten administrative discipline and order associated with inspection, supervision, control of power and resource allocation, and improve implementation capacity.

Complete a synchronous and modern strategic infrastructure system, prioritizing key transport infrastructure projects, inter-regional projects, urban infrastructure, and digital transformation infrastructure.

Focus on restructuring industries, fields and within industries associated with renewing the growth model towards enhancing the application of science and technology, promoting innovation, improving productivity, quality, efficiency, competitiveness, autonomy, adaptability and resilience of the economy...
