Promote and consume OCOP products

On August 25, in Tuy Hoa ward, the Provincial Farmers' Association organized a conference to connect trade, consumption, promotion and introduction of agricultural products of Dak Lak province.

In recent times, through the implementation of the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program, Dak Lak province's typical products are growing strongly in both quantity and quality; many products have been introduced into supermarket systems, retail stores, showrooms and exported to many countries around the world .

However, there are still certain difficulties in the implementation process such as: the consumer market, promotion and product introduction have not met the requirements; designs and packaging are not suitable to consumer tastes...

Business representatives exchanged and shared experiences in consuming agricultural products at the conference.

At the conference, delegates exchanged and shared experiences in the production and business process. At the same time, they pointed out difficulties and shortcomings in product consumption; participation in re-evaluating expired OCOP products; connecting businesses, distributors, and export partners to promote consumption, expand markets, and increase added value for agricultural products of localities in the province.

Representatives of units signed a cooperation agreement to connect trade and consume agricultural products with Vi Long Trading Company Limited, period 2025-2030.

Also at the conference, Vi Long Trading Company Limited (Tuy Hoa Ward) signed a cooperation agreement to connect trade and consumption of agricultural products and OCOP products for the period 2025 - 2030 with the Farmers' Associations of the communes and wards: Ea Knuec, Buon Ma Thuot, Tuy Hoa and Dong Din General Agricultural Business Cooperative (Phu Hoa 1 Commune). Accordingly, the parties will closely coordinate in the production process, quality control and product consumption according to the agreed plan.

Enterprises introducing OCOP products are displayed and introduced at the conference.

Within the framework of the program (taking place from August 25 to 27), there are more than 20 booths with 300 OCOP products, typical agricultural products such as: coffee, pepper, macadamia, avocado, durian, turmeric starch, honey, dried fruit, handicrafts... of cooperatives, cooperatives, and business households also directly displayed and introduced to consumers and tourists inside and outside the province.
