Lao Cai is ready for the Country's Achievement Exhibition

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Lao Cai Provincial Museum has displayed more than 300 valuable images and artifacts at the National Achievements Exhibition (National Exhibition Center, Hanoi).

Taking place from August 28 to September 5 at the National Exhibition Center (Dong Anh, Hanoi ), the province's exhibition area with the theme "Lao Cai - Strong mountains and rivers, radiant identity, aspiration to reach far", focuses on demonstrating the development of Lao Cai province over the past 80 years, especially the period 2021 - 2025.

The exhibition area is arranged according to 3 main themes: "Lao Cai - land and people" introduces the history of formation, majestic natural beauty and unique culture of the borderland; " Economic and social achievements" with a historical axis system showing typical milestones in the 80-year journey of construction and development; "Lao Cai - Aspiration to reach far" presents projects, plans and development orientations in the future.

The exhibition areas are under urgent construction.

The exhibition areas are designed with a consistent layout showing Lao Cai as a land where nature and people converge, where rivers - mountains - identity blend together, creating a harmonious and happy living space.

The highlight of the exhibition is the application of modern technology with an interactive mapping table in the center, allowing visitors to explore the content themselves. The exhibition also uses lighting effects, sound and vivid 3D models, making it accessible to all ages.

The OCOP area introduces Lao Cai tourism culture; the performance and experience stage displays traditional handicraft products such as weaving, carving, knitting, brocade and ethnic costumes. In particular, 39 folk artists will perform folk songs, folk dances and traditional crafts.

The exhibition aims to introduce and promote the potential, strengths and dynamism of Lao Cai - a border province with a strategic geographical location, where nature and people converge, towards green and sustainable development.
