Conference to announce the decision to merge Yen Bai College into Yen Bai Vocational College

At the conference, the following decisions were announced: accepting and appointing Mr. Le Anh Tuan, Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (before the merger) to hold the position of Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (after the merger);

Receive and appoint Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung, Vice Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (before the merger) to hold the position of Vice Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (after the merger);

Receive and appoint Mr. Do Duy Thai, Vice Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (before the merger) to hold the position of Vice Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (after the merger);

Receive and appoint Ms. Do Thi Thanh Thuy, Vice Principal of Yen Bai College (before the merger) to hold the position of Vice Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (after the merger);

Receive and appoint Mr. Nguyen Tuan Ngoc, Vice Principal of Yen Bai College (before the merger) to hold the position of Vice Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (after the merger);

Receive and appoint Mr. Nguyen Sinh Phuc, Vice Principal of Yen Bai College (before the merger) to hold the position of Vice Principal of Yen Bai Vocational College (after the merger).

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee presented the decision on personnel work.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Vu Thi Hien Hanh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee acknowledged and commended the important contributions of Yen Bai College in recent times; at the same time, congratulated the collective leadership, lecturers, teachers, staff and all students of the new Yen Bai Vocational College.

He emphasized that the merger of Yen Bai College into Yen Bai Vocational College is an important milestone, opening a new development stage for the province's education and training career. The merger of the two schools aims to reorganize the training system, optimize resources and improve operational efficiency, ensuring the supply of high-quality technical workers for the industrial, agricultural, forestry and social service sectors.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee believes that Yen Bai Vocational College will become a multi-disciplinary, multi-level vocational education institution, with training functions from elementary, intermediate to college levels, better meeting the human resource needs of the locality and region.

To successfully carry out the new mission, the Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the school to soon stabilize its organizational structure and apparatus according to the College Charter; uphold the tradition of solidarity, ensure unity and consensus, create collective strength to immediately start implementing the new task.

Innovate management, improve training quality; link training with social needs, focus on output standards, diversify occupations; expand cooperation with businesses, production and service establishments so that students have more opportunities to practice, intern and find jobs after graduation.

Building a team of high-quality teachers and managers, ensuring quantity, quality, and structure; meeting standards in professional qualifications, pedagogical skills, practical skills, foreign languages, and information technology; having clear professional ethics; constantly researching, innovating, and transferring knowledge.

Strengthening facilities, applying information technology, promoting digital transformation; gradually modernizing teaching and learning equipment; promoting scientific research among lecturers and students; promoting international cooperation, expanding cooperative relationships in training and research with prestigious schools and scientific research agencies at home and abroad.

Pay attention to the lives of officials, civil servants, students and pupils to improve day by day.
