On the evening of August 27, the parade groups passed through the streets of Hanoi amidst the cheers and encouragement of the people.

After the rain that lasted for many days, in the early afternoon of August 27, the sky gradually cleared up, the flooded areas gradually receded, and the road surface became dry. Crowds of people flocked to many streets, filling the sidewalks. The cool weather made everyone more excited to watch the parades and marching forces.

As the parades and processions entered the city center, the atmosphere was bustling and emotional. Thousands of people stood along the streets, waving flags and singing loudly in harmony with the gathering atmosphere.

All eyes were on the convoy and the parade blocks with pride shining as a warm welcome for the soldiers. The elderly and veterans, despite their advanced age and weak health, still tried to wave and salute the moving convoy.

The soldiers also responded to the people's feelings with smiles and waves through the windows. This support was not only a spiritual encouragement but also showed the people's deep gratitude for the efforts and dedication of the forces participating in the parade. Every time a group passed by, all the people tried to preserve and record the moment of the straight steps and rhythmic command changes. That was the result of the soldiers' tireless efforts and training for many days and nights. The bright looks and smiles carried a proud look.

When the program began, all the people present stood solemnly, sang the National Anthem together, in harmony with each word and each melody. The steady footsteps of the parade, the sound of motor vehicles, the deep drum beats mixed with the cheers of the people, created a space that was both solemn and vibrant, making everyone feel the grandeur of the ceremony.

Among the crowd returning from the rehearsal, Ms. Hoang Minh Anh (55 years old, Yet Kieu ward) excitedly said: "I feel the strong, uniform footsteps of the soldiers marching and marching bring a majestic and solemn atmosphere. Behind that are countless days of hard training and sweating to have a neat and beautiful formation. People admire and are even more proud of the will, discipline and determination of the soldiers. All of this makes the atmosphere of the approaching big holiday even more sacred and worth waiting for. I will definitely be present at the official ceremony."

Coming from faraway Russia, Mr. Dimitry Na (38 years old, tourist ) shared: “I learned about Vietnam through the Russian Embassy and decided to travel here with my son because I know you are a country with a heroic history. My 9-year-old son Stefan and I feel very lucky to be in Hanoi during these important National Day celebrations on September 2. Witnessing the heroic atmosphere during the parade rehearsal is an unforgettable experience for me. Your capital Hanoi is very hospitable and friendly. We will stay in Hanoi for another week and I think my son will have a wonderful experience of patriotism when witnessing Vietnamese friends proudly shouting “Vietnam” every time the parade passes by."

Ms. Dang Thi Hien (residing in Thanh Tri commune, Hanoi) said that she wanted her children to see the entire formality and modernity of the Vietnam People's Army. She felt very proud and honored to be a part of this preliminary rehearsal. August 30 is the rehearsal, she and her children will be there early to witness it with their own eyes as part of their love for their homeland.

Although this was the third time watching the parade, Ms. Nguyen Phuong Quynh (45 years old, in Bac Tu Liem ward, Hanoi) still had the same feelings as the first time she saw it. She was extremely touched and proud when she saw the parade groups passing by amid the cheers of the people. This was a precious moment and a beautiful memory that she will never forget.

The ceremony ended, but the warm and affectionate atmosphere of the people still lingered on every street. The smiles, the waves, the cheers and the wishes of peace sent to the soldiers were not only a spiritual encouragement, but also a vivid expression of patriotism and national pride.

This is an opportunity for each citizen to experience and express their feelings, so that pride and gratitude spread throughout the capital, creating a true festival of solidarity and patriotism.
