On the occasion of National Day September 2, Ms. Luong Thi Nam, an overseas Vietnamese from Singapore, returned to visit her hometown in Viet Tri ward. As a child living far away from home, she could not hide her emotions when immersing herself in the bustling atmosphere of the patriotic "trends" that were spreading. She took many photos at "Patriotic Coffee" shops with bright red flags and yellow stars and shared them on social networks. These photos not only spread love and national pride but also were a way for her to introduce to international friends the image of a peaceful and beautiful Vietnam.

In the same exciting atmosphere, Mr. Nguyen Bao Huy from Vinh Yen ward and a group of friends went to Hanoi to celebrate National Day on September 2. Young people wearing uniforms printed with the word "Vietnam" and the slogans "Proud of Vietnam" and "Independence - Freedom - Happiness", following the "trend" of "Patriotic fashion " eagerly walked around the streets covered in red. In their shining eyes, they shared joy and pride as they joined the bustling crowd, together singing the song "Like having Uncle Ho on the great victory day", experiencing the special and memorable moments of the great festival.

As the 80th anniversary of National Day, September 2nd, approaches, veteran Bui Van Binh in Phu Ninh commune cannot help but be moved and emotional. Having directly participated in the battle to protect Quang Tri Citadel for 81 days and nights, he always remembers the years fighting side by side with his comrades with the determination to gain independence and freedom for the nation. He remembers the glorious feats, remembers his comrades, remembers the losses and sacrifices during the days of "going to B" on the battlefield of his beloved Southern region.

For Mr. Binh, National Day is not only a holiday, but also a reminder of the value of independence and freedom – the achievements paid for with the blood and bones of an entire generation. In the hearts of soldiers in the past, pride in the Fatherland is always associated with the expectation of a bright future, where the Vietnamese people will grow higher and further, affirming their position in the international arena.

Being one of the female soldiers participating in the Female Information Soldiers' Block in the parade celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, for Private First Class Nguyen Trang Nhung (born in 2001, Viet Tri Ward) and her family, it is a special honor and pride. Once an excellent student of Hung Vuong High School for the Gifted, after graduating from the Foreign Trade University, Trang Nhung wrote a volunteer application to join the army, currently working at Warehouse 690, Quartermaster Department, General Department of Logistics - Engineering. This is a choice from the heart, an aspiration to wear the green uniform of a soldier, to be trained in the army and to contribute her youth to the Fatherland.

Sharing about the honor of being selected to participate in the A80 parade, Trang Nhung expressed that it was an unforgettable milestone in her military career. The trust that her superiors gave her made her both proud and feel a heavy responsibility, urging her to make more efforts to fulfill the tasks assigned by the Fatherland.

Since May, together with her teammates in the Female Information Soldiers Block, Trang Nhung has been practicing seriously and persistently under the unpredictable weather conditions. The hardships, sweat and sometimes even minor injuries did not deter her, but rather tempered the spirit of discipline and the will to overcome difficulties of each soldier in the block. With the dedicated guidance of the staff, teachers and the consensus of the collective, the block has overcome all challenges, achieved good training results, and is ready to enter the great national festival with a solemn, majestic and enthusiastic formation.

That glorious mission will become the motivation for Trang Nhung on the road ahead. Every step on Ba Dinh Square will be a reminder for her to continue training, striving, and keeping her oath as a soldier.

For Mr. Nguyen Tran Huy Hoang, Secretary of the Youth Union of Phu Tho Medical College, National Day September 2 is not only a celebration but also an opportunity for the young generation to look back on the past, feel the value of peace, independence and promote their role in the development of the country.

Aware of that responsibility, “Union leader” Nguyen Tran Huy Hoang and the youth union members of Phu Tho Medical College constantly strive to study, practice skills, and actively participate in activities, shock movements, and volunteer for the community. That is the way young people in the medical industry express their patriotism in the most sincere and practical way.

In the bustling atmosphere of National Day, Mr. Nguyen Tran Huy Hoang shared: “Today's youth are the pioneering force in the cause of building a stronger and more prosperous country. To me, every action, no matter how small, has its own meaning, and is the way the young generation expresses its responsibility and love for the country. It is both an opportunity to practice and mature, and to affirm the role and responsibility of the youth. It is that spirit that makes National Day more special, urging each youth union member to live fully with their youth and responsibility.
