Chief Justice of Hue City People's Court Vu Van Minh speaks at the meeting

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vu Van Minh, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chief Justice of Hue City People's Court emphasized: "We are extremely pleased that the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos are increasingly consolidated and developed deeply in all fields. Especially in 2025, the two countries signed the Vietnam - Laos Investment Cooperation Conference and successfully coordinated to organize other practical activities. Wishing the special friendship and comprehensive cooperation between Vietnam and Laos to be forever green, forever sustainable and increasingly develop to a new height".

At the same time, it affirms that the Vietnamese People's Court system in general and the Hue City People's Court at 2 levels in particular have achieved great achievements in recent years, contributing to the cause of building and developing Vietnam and building the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. The Court is guaranteed to exercise judicial power; the role, position, appearance and prestige of the People's Court are increasingly enhanced.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and learned about the two-level local government organization model, trial activities and some experiences of the People's Courts of the two countries. The parties agreed that in the coming time, it is necessary to increase the exchange of working delegations to learn, cooperate, and deepen the special solidarity and friendship between the People's Courts of the two sides, contributing to promoting friendship and cooperation in judicial development between the Courts of Vietnam and Laos in general and between the People's Court of Hue City and the People's Court of Salavan Province in particular.

Mr. Khamhayvan Simmaly, Acting Chief Justice of Salavan Provincial People's Court emphasized: "Through this visit and work, we hope to continue to strengthen exchanges, learn about and cooperate, deepen the solidarity and special friendship between the People's Courts of the two sides - where we share a border, contributing to promoting friendship and cooperation in judicial development between Vietnam and Laos".

On this occasion, Hue City People's Court presented 4 sets of computers and two printers to Salavan Provincial People's Court to better serve its work.
