SCAVI Quang Dien Company Limited workers shine in red flag with yellow star on August 30

On August 30, more than 600 cadres, union members and employees of Scavi Quang Dien Company Limited wore the national flag. From the corridor, the break room to the operating room, everything was filled with the red and yellow star. Each shirt, each smile, each bright eye was a vivid affirmation of the love for the country and the solidarity of the collective.

Not only stopping at decoration, the union and the Scavi leadership also organized the program "Union Meal" for all employees. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Nhi, President of the Union of Scavi Quang Dien Company, shared: "We want the great national holiday not only to commemorate but also to become an opportunity for union members to become more connected, spread pride and add motivation in daily work".

At the same time, Son Ha Hue Company Limited organized a flag-hanging ceremony, flag-saluting ceremony and singing of the National Anthem right at the beginning of the week. Right at each sewing line, workers placed small, pretty flags on the sewing machines, creating a bustling yet solemn and sacred working atmosphere. Ms. Lai Thi Tay Phuong, Chairwoman of the company's Trade Union, said: "Not only on the occasion of National Day September 2, but on any major holiday of the country, the trade union and the enterprise coordinate to hang the flag and sing the National Anthem. That is how we foster love for the homeland and national pride in union members."

More meaningfully, on this occasion, Son Ha Hue Company Limited awarded all workers from 300 thousand to more than 1 million VND/person, depending on the revenue of each line. This is both a spiritual encouragement and a demonstration of practical concern for the lives of workers.

According to Mr. Le Minh Nhan, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the city, Chairman of the Hue City Labor Federation, on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the city Labor Federation directed grassroots unions to carry out many practical activities. Many units negotiated with businesses to reward workers, simultaneously organized "Union Meals", hung banners, slogans, and posters at headquarters and areas with many workers.
