The tanker truck was completely burned after the fire.

Previously, at 9:20 p.m. on July 2, on the Hanoi – Hai Phong highway, through Gia Loc district, a car fire occurred. The fire broke out after tanker 24H 00262 carrying gasoline collided with truck 14C – 200.85.

Before the collision, the truck had no cargo and was parked on the road due to an accident. Mr. Them had placed a warning tree branch in front of it.

When colliding with the tanker truck, the truck turned around, and the front of the tanker truck separated from the gasoline tank behind, causing gasoline to spill out and catch fire.

The fire flared up fiercely, accompanied by billowing black smoke. The fire spread to the green corridor on the highway, causing a one-way traffic jam on the Hanoi-Hai Phong highway.

Immediately after receiving the news, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Department mobilized 4 fire trucks, 1 fire fighting robot, 1 command vehicle, carrying foaming mechanism and 30 officers and soldiers to the scene to put out the fire.

By 21:57 the same day the fire was completely extinguished.
