School has no more seats available: Department of Education and Training announces direction to receive more than 500 applications

According to the announcement, with 523 applications to Tay Mo 3 Primary School, the Departmentof Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem District (Hanoi) divided them into two groups.

For 230 students of Ly Nam De Primary School who applied to transfer to Tay Mo 3 Primary School, if they wish to continue studying at Ly Nam De Primary School or transfer to Tay Mo Primary School or Dai Mo 3 Primary School (Dai Mo Ward), parents must submit a new application form at the respective school from 2:00 p.m. on August 25 to 12:00 p.m. on August 26.

For the remaining 293 students, if they wish to transfer to Tay Mo Primary School, Ly Nam De Primary School, Dai Mo 3 Primary School (Dai Mo Ward), parents must submit a new application at the respective schools from 2:00 p.m. on August 25 to 12:00 p.m. on August 26.

For 1,111 students of Tay Mo 3 Primary School, parents who wish to transfer back to Tay Mo Primary School or transfer to Ly Nam De Primary School, Dai Mo 3 Primary School (Dai Mo ward) must submit their applications to the respective schools from 2:00 p.m. on August 25 to 12:00 p.m. on August 26.

The Department of Education notes that when parents come to submit a new application (form available at the school), they must submit the original "application" certified by the school that the parents are holding.

In the announcement, the Department of Education and Training of Nam Tu Liem District also informed that according to the project to separate Dai Mo Primary School into Dai Mo Primary School and Dai Mo 3 Primary School (project No. 99/DA-UBND dated June 26, 2024 of Dai Mo Ward People's Committee approved by Nam Tu Liem District People's Committee), Dai Mo 3 Primary School will only accept 190 more students for each grade.

After 12:00 on August 26, schools will compile applications and send them to the District Department of Education and Training for consideration and resolution according to regulations and notify the results before 2:00 p.m. on August 27 to promptly prepare for the new school year.

On August 21, hundreds of parents sat around Tay Mo 3 Primary School from early morning until nearly 10 p.m. waiting to question school leaders and education department leaders about the school's enrollment.

On the same day, more than 500 applications for transferring children to Tay Mo 3 Primary School were received by the school from parents and sent to the Department of Education and Training.
