With the theme "Vietnam Tourism - Green Transformation for Sustainable Development", Vietnam International Travel Mart - VITM Hanoi 2024 will contribute to promoting new trends. That is responsible tourism associated with environmental protection for development; creating opportunities for Vietnamese and international tourism businesses to promote their brands, introduce products and develop tourism business relationships.
According to Mr. Vu The Binh - Chairman of Vietnam Tourism Association, this year's fair focuses on green tourism products, green transformation in sustainable tourism development. Mr. Binh hopes that through the fair, tourism businesses, authorities at all levels, sectors and tourists will pay attention to environmental protection in tourism activities.
The fair focuses on activities to contribute to turning Vietnam tourism into a green economic sector, on the basis of building green destinations and green products, promoting businesses to train workers with knowledge of green tourism, contributing to enhancing the image of Vietnam tourism in the international arena.
VITM Hanoi 2024 Fair attracts more than 450 booths, including 25% international booths, tourism businesses and destination management agencies will introduce and provide products directly to tourists and partner businesses.
It is expected that about 3,500 Vietnamese and international businesses will come to work and about 80,000 Vietnamese and international visitors will come to visit and buy products at the fair.
In addition, visitors to VITM Hanoi 2024 will have information about promotional tour programs, discounted air tickets, cheap hotel rooms, etc.
Ms. Le Thi To Linh, Deputy Head of Passenger Commerce Department of Vietnam Airlines in Vietnam region, said that at the VITM fair in Hanoi 2024, the company will bring 10,000 cheap air tickets to combine with tourism businesses to build combo tours.
In addition, many activities, seminars and forums revolving around the theme of green tourism and tourism stimulation will be held during the fair.
Vietnam International Travel Mart - VITM Hanoi 2024 will take place from April 11 to 14 at the ICE International Exhibition Center - Hanoi Friendship Cultural Palace, 91 Tran Hung Dao, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi.
During the fair, many unique art performances, imbued with traditional cultural elements by art troupes from within the country and internationally, will be performed on the main stage of the fair (traditional Sarawak dance - Malaysia; Jia Jiang Street Dance - Taiwan, taekwondo performance - Korea...).
