Workshop to review the implementation of medical quarantine procedures

On August 29, in Khanh Hoa, the Ministry of Health held a workshop to review the implementation of medical quarantine procedures. Attending the workshop were nearly 70 medical staff from the Center for Disease Control, the National Center for International Medical Quarantine, and a number of related units.

Delegates were introduced to and made aware of the models of symbols, badges, signs, cards, medical quarantine uniforms, flags, medical quarantine stamps, sample stamp numbers used in the border medical quarantine system, etc.; updated forms of international vaccination certificates or application of preventive measures, general aviation declarations, maritime health declarations, aircraft hygiene inspection records, maritime health declarations, etc.

Delegates were also informed about Decree 89 of the Government detailing the implementation of a number of articles of the Law on Prevention and Control of Infectious Diseases regarding border health quarantine; in which, emphasizing the content of health quarantine for people, means of transport, goods, corpses, remains, medical microbiological samples, biological products, tissues; conditions to ensure border health quarantine activities...

The workshop is an opportunity for relevant medical facilities to clearly understand and correctly implement medical quarantine procedures, especially in the context of infectious disease outbreaks in many countries around the world , currently Chikungunya disease.
