According to VNA correspondent in Switzerland, Minister Counselor Pham Quang Huy - Deputy Head of the Permanent Delegation of Vietnam in Geneva - recently had a working session with representatives of the St. Gallen Foundation and attended a workshop on "Risk level and trade response of countries to increased tariffs."
The workshop was attended by a large number of delegations from member countries of the World Trade Organization (WTO), along with speakers and coordinators who were leading experts on international trade policy, including Mr. Simon Evenett - Founder of the St. Gallen Foundation and Professor Richard Baldwin (IMD) - expert on global economics .

On the sidelines of the workshop, the Vietnamese delegation also met with speakers to learn more information, including a discussion with Professor Baldwin about his recent book, “The Great Trade Hack,” which focuses on analyzing the US government’s tariff policy.
In addition, the delegation also had a working session with Professor Simon Evenett to propose strengthening coordination activities between the two sides.
