On June 20, Gulf News , one of the leading English-language daily newspapers in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), released a ranking of the top 15 destinations in Southeast Asia. The list was voted by this unit.
Notably, Vietnam has 3 representatives appearing in this announcement.
The three destinations are Ha Long Bay in 3rd place, Hoi An in 8th place and Sa Pa in 15th place.
Describing the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site in Quang Ninh, the newspaper, founded in 1978, wrote: " Ha Long Bay possesses a 'surreal' seascape with limestone layers and emerald waters. Visitors are best advised to experience the destination on a cruise or kayak."

In contrast to the majestic natural beauty of Ha Long Bay, Hoi An ( Da Nang , formerly Quang Nam province) is an ancient riverside town. It is lit up with lanterns at night and is famous for its tailoring services. Street food is diverse. The architecture is a mix of Asian and French. The buildings here are relatively well preserved.
Further north in Vietnam, Sa Pa ( Lao Cai ) is known for its terraced fields and the unique culture of its ethnic minorities.

The Lao Cai province site is a great place for relaxation and hiking. Tourists flock here for the cool mountain air, vibrant culture, jungle adventures and panoramic views of the Hoang Lien Son mountain range.
Topping the list is Bangkok (Thailand) . In addition, Chiang Mai is the last destination of the Golden Temple country to appear on this list at number 9.

Singapore is in second place thanks to its modernity and cleanliness.
Bali (Indonesia) with diverse tourist activities such as surfing, yoga and visiting terraced fields was voted the 4th most attractive destination in Southeast Asia.
The daytime tranquility and nighttime party vibe make Bali a magnet for digital nomads.
