On the afternoon of June 20, Can Loc District Forest Protection Department coordinated with Thien Loc Commune People's Committee and Mr. Dang Phuc Muoi's family (residing in Thien Huong village, Thien Loc commune) to organize the handover of a python belonging to group IIB, the list of endangered and rare forest animals, to Vu Quang National Park.

It is known that the 2kg python was discovered and caught by Mr. Muoi in the morning of the same day while working in the field.
Identifying this as an endangered and rare wild animal, his family notified the local authorities to hand it over to the authorities.

After receiving it, Can Loc District Forest Protection Department handed over the python to Vu Quang National Park for further monitoring and care before releasing it back into the natural environment.
