Bustling, joyful and full of excitement… that was the feeling of everyone when participating in the school opening ceremony with the first graders. In brand new uniforms, led by their parents to school, the children walked through the school gate with eyes that were both unfamiliar and excited. Some children were still shyly hiding behind their mothers. Some children nervously looked around, but there was no shortage of confident, radiant faces as if they were ready for a new journey.
In order to create a friendly and joyful atmosphere, helping children to integrate early, primary schools in the area organize to welcome students in many different forms such as: performing arts, organizing sightseeing activities, games, giving gifts...
In particular, to help children not feel overwhelmed, many schools create conditions for parents to accompany their children to school and class. Ms. Nguyen Ngoc Bich Diep - Thanh Sen ward shared her joy: "Although this is the second child, I am still nervous and worried, but seeing the teachers' care, I feel happy and more secure."

At Bac Ha Primary School, Thanh Sen Ward, the atmosphere of the first week of the new school year was bustling and full of excitement with many meaningful activities.
More than 240 first grade students visited and got acquainted with the landscape and learning space such as: traditional house, library, multi-function house... This is a way for them to feel closer and love their new school more.

...sparkling with joy on the new journey.
On the first day of school, the homeroom teacher organized many light but practical activities to help students quickly get used to the new environment and gradually adapt to the school routine. Not only did they teach basic skills, the teachers also spent time talking, getting to know each student, and remembering their names - the unfamiliar faces on the first day of class.
In particular, to maintain a cheerful atmosphere, teachers have incorporated many small games into the lessons, or during the transition period. These activities not only help students relax but also create connections, making each lesson lively and full of laughter.
Teacher Pham Thi Khuyen - Bac Ha Primary School, Thanh Sen Ward said: "In addition to teaching children basic habits, we also actively organize learning while playing, playing while learning activities, helping children visit and learn about their learning environment, about traditions as well as good things about the school they will be attached to throughout 5 years of primary school."

For Ms. Dang Thi Hanh's family (Ha Huy Tap ward), this school year marks a special milestone when her first son officially enters first grade. Not only is it a matter of choosing a suitable educational environment, Ms. Hanh, like many other parents, has begun to prepare the necessary skills for her child, from the smallest things.
Tran Khanh Phuc Duc - Ha Huy Tap ward, Ha Tinh province shared his joy when going to first grade, meeting many new friends and new teachers. Every night, Phuc Duc goes to his desk early to study with his mother. Ms. Dang Thi Hanh, Phuc Duc's parent, shared: "To train my child to have good study habits when moving from preschool to high school also requires a process. I always try to understand, listen, and accompany my child on the path of learning and growing up, especially from the first weeks like that."

This is the first year that the education sector operates under a two-tier government model, in which kindergartens, primary schools and secondary schools are under the management of communes and wards. The change in management mechanism poses many challenges, but with a high sense of responsibility, schools and teachers have made constant efforts to ensure the quality of education right from the start.
Ms. Tran Thi Thuy Nga - Vice Chairman of Thanh Sen Ward People's Committee said: "In recent years, the People's Committee of Ha Tinh City (old) has directed schools to promote the models of "Digital Transformation School", "Smart Classroom", "Digital Library". Through this model, students have had access to electronic learning materials, e-books, interactive boards, learning support software, and multi-dimensional interactive learning methods. This not only helps children absorb knowledge more vividly but also forms technological capacity - essential digital citizenship skills in the 4.0 era. The guiding view when implementing the model is to have a roadmap and level of application appropriate to each grade, not to abuse technology, especially for grade 1, so the implementation of this model in recent years has brought about effectiveness and formed a new teaching method at Thanh Sen Primary School"
With the trust of the education sector in the careful preparation and the support of their families, first graders in particular and students of all levels in general are ready to enter the school year. On the morning of September 5, schools will hold the opening ceremony of the new school year. Parents and their children will welcome the special moment of the first day of school. Perhaps this is also a way for each parent to help their children feel confident, excited, and motivated on their new learning journey.
