A season of memories, many things to send

(Baohatinh.vn) - During the months of June, along with the whole country, Ha Tinh press agencies left a beautiful mark with a series of solemn and meaningful activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.

Pursuant to Plan No. 316-KH/BTGTW dated June 29, 2023 of the Central Propaganda Department, Plan No. 345/KH-HNBVN dated October 9, 2023 of the Vietnam Journalists Association , on March 28, 2024, the Provincial Party Committee issued Plan No. 245-KH/TU on organizing activities to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day. Then, on May 10, 2025, the Provincial Party Committee issued a Plan to organize the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025).

The meeting to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day is an opportunity for generations of journalists in the province to meet, exchange and discuss expertise.

Based on the plans of the Provincial Party Committee, departments, branches, localities and units have organized many practical and meaningful activities to help cadres, party members and people of all walks of life understand the glorious tradition and noble mission of the Vietnamese revolutionary press and Ha Tinh press in the cause of building, protecting and developing the homeland and country in the new period.

The highlight of the series of activities was the celebration of the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025) and the awarding of the Tran Phu Press Award 2024, solemnly organized by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of Ha Tinh province. Generations of journalists in the province had the opportunity to meet, exchange, and share stories about life and work.

The program was attended by leaders of central and local departments and agencies and press agencies nationwide, demonstrating the attention of all levels and sectors to journalists, contributing to affirming the role of the press in the development of the province.

Along with the celebration organized by the province, related units also organized many meetings and exchanges to give journalists more opportunities to connect and share. The Ha Tinh Press Pickleball Tournament organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism attracted 80 athletes from press and propaganda agencies in the province to compete.

In the atmosphere of exchange and connection, the athletes gave the audience many beautiful plays and exciting matches. Mr. Vo Hong Son - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Head of the Organizing Committee of the tournament said: "The tournament aims to promote the sports training movement, at the same time, create a healthy playground for those working in the field of journalism to exchange and learn experiences, contributing to improving physical and mental health".

Central press agencies located in the area also organized many exciting activities to celebrate 100 days of Vietnam Revolutionary Press.

In addition to this tournament, many other sports tournaments were also organized by press agencies such as Ha Tinh Newspaper, Representative Office Association and Resident Reporters Association, etc., creating an exciting, vibrant atmosphere, connecting journalists.

The activities are not only an opportunity for us to exchange and experience, but also a valuable opportunity to learn from previous generations of journalists, to understand more deeply the glorious tradition of the profession so that we can continue to strive and contribute on our journey of journalism.”

The organizing committee of the award "Press writing about good people, good deeds, advanced models in the patriotic emulation movement and new rural construction in Ha Tinh province" awarded 25 outstanding works.

In addition to the movement activities, the provincial journalists also welcomed the joy of the traditional day of the profession with awards at the Central and local press competitions. This year, the Organizing Committee of the Tran Phu Press Award received hundreds of entries in various categories. After the preliminary and final rounds, 35 works were recognized as winners, including: 4 A prizes, 10 B prizes, 10 C prizes and 11 consolation prizes.

The award "Press writing about good people, good deeds, advanced models in the patriotic emulation movement and new rural construction in Ha Tinh province" co-organized by the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism also awarded 25 winning works, including 2 A prizes, 4 B prizes, 6 C prizes and 13 consolation prizes.

In particular, at the big stage of the National Press Awards, journalists in Ha Tinh won 3 awards, of which Ha Tinh Newspaper won 2 C awards for the categories of electronic newspapers and television reports. These prestigious awards have contributed to affirming the efforts and contributions of the team of journalists and reporters in the province to the national press.

The series of events towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day were organized methodically, solemnly and meaningfully, leaving a deep impression. These activities not only honored the achievements of journalism but also contributed to connecting journalists with the public and the younger generation, spreading pride and professional responsibility. The event has ended but the beautiful echoes will still be preserved in the hearts of journalists; contributing to arousing confidence, pride, and creating motivation for the provincial press to continue to innovate and create, for the development of the homeland, the country and the interests of the People.
