The event was organized by Vietnamese Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien and Azerbaijani Minister of Energy Parviz Shakhbazov. Within the framework of the meeting, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Ho An Phong and Deputy Minister of Culture of Azerbaijan Saadat Yusifova had important discussions to promote cooperation in the fields of culture, sports and tourism.
On the basis of the newly established Strategic Partnership between the two countries, the two sides reviewed recent good cooperation milestones: Successfully organizing the friendship concert "Pearls of Azerbaijani classical music " in Hanoi (June 2025); Organizing Vietnam Day in Baku (July 2025) to introduce Vietnamese culture, tourism, and cuisine.
Looking to the future, the two sides agreed to continue prioritizing cultural, sports and tourism cooperation, considering this an important foundation contributing to the development of the strategic partnership.
The 4th session of the Intergovernmental Commission will be held in Azerbaijan in 2027.
