Vidic could return to MU in a new role.

In an interview with The Overlap , Vidic said: “If I had the chance to manage or coach someone, it would definitely be Manchester United. I like challenges and I want to turn difficulties into good things."

When asked about his current plans, Vidic said he still wants to stick with football and consider the opportunity to become a coach or Sports Director. Previously, Vidic had ambitions to run for the position of President of the Serbian Football Federation, but this plan has not come true.

Vidic had an illustrious career at Old Trafford, winning five Premier League titles, one Champions League and other major and minor trophies. Vidic played 211 games between 2006 and 2014, scoring 15 goals for the Red Devils. Vidic's solidity and strength in defence were the foundation for MU's success during that period.

In addition to football, Vidic is also focusing on business. The former centre-back has ventured into real estate. Vidic shared: "In the current apartment business, I am also trying to create good projects, beautiful buildings that I can be proud to walk into and proud of what I have built."

Vidic will be keeping a close eye on United in the upcoming season, starting with a friendly against Leeds on July 19. Fans are hoping that one day, they will see Vidic return to Old Trafford in a new role.
