One of the outstanding developments of the season is the implementation of VAR technology with more than 90% of matches in V-League 1-2024/25 applying this modern referee support system. In addition, VAR appeared in important matches of the 2024/25 National Beer Sao Vang Tournament, from the Quarterfinals of the 2024/25 National Cup, the 2024/25 Beer Sao Vang Play-Off match, marking the Organizing Committee's continuous efforts in modernizing and improving the quality of tournaments. VAR technology not only helps to improve transparency and accuracy in operations but also becomes an indispensable part of the professional competition system.

Specifically, the overall ranking awards went to Nam Dinh Green Steel (Champion), Hanoi FC (Runner-up), and Hanoi Police (Third Place).
