From 2022 to present, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment has coordinated to respond to and resolve 59 opinions and recommendations of voters and people on areas such as: Overcoming environmental pollution; minerals; land, granting land use right certificates, compensation, site clearance, resettlement arrangements... However, in the process of resolving opinions and recommendations related to resources, funding for investment, related to the budget,... these are recommendations that require a long-term process, so the quality of resolution and response has not met the wishes of voters and people.
The Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee supervises the handling of responses to voters' and people's opinions and recommendations at the Department of Natural Resources and Environment.
Through the working session, the Supervisory Delegation requested the Department of Natural Resources and Environment to strengthen research and consultation on mechanisms and policies for the sector to promptly and satisfactorily resolve petitions, meeting the aspirations of voters and people; have a mechanism to monitor and evaluate the level of satisfaction of people with the resolution of opinions and petitions related to the sector; at the same time, complete the report, review the petitions of voters and people to resolve any problems so that the Delegation can synthesize and send them to competent authorities for consideration.
