At the conference, nearly 100 delegates representing bus stations, enterprises, cooperatives, and business owners of passenger and cargo transport in Duy Xuyen and Dai Loc districts, Dien Ban town, and Hoi An city were informed by the leaders of the Department of Transport, Vehicle and Driver Management (Quang Nam Department of Transport) about Decree No. 158, dated December 18, 2024 of the Government regulating road transport activities.
In addition, information on the core contents of Circular No. 36, dated November 15, 2024 of the Ministry of Transport regulating the organization and management of passenger and cargo transport activities by automobile and the operation of bus stations, parking lots, rest stops, and bus stops; procedures for putting bus stations and rest stops into operation.
Representatives of the Quang Nam Department of Transport Inspectorate disseminated some main contents of the Road Law and the Road Traffic Safety Law 2024 (effective from January 1, 2025). New points to note in these two laws; along with the penalty regulations according to Decree No. 168, dated December 26, 2024 of the Government related to road transport business activities.
This conference was held to deploy 2 laws and legal documents guiding their implementation, promptly propagate and disseminate new contents related to transportation business activities, transportation service activities, etc. Thereby, transportation business units, vehicle owners, and drivers grasp to implement, avoid violations in the coming time, especially when the penalty for violations according to Decree No. 168, dated December 26, 2024 of the Government is very high compared to before.
