Tuition fees for the 2025-2026 school year applicable to students enrolled in 2025 were announced by the University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) this morning (June 15).
Bonus points for candidates with foreign language certificates
In 2025, University of Economics and Law will enroll full-time university students in 3 ways.
Method 1 : Direct admission and priority for direct admission.
Subject 1 is directly admitted according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Candidates who have won first, second, or third prizes in national excellent student exams are included in the admission group to the University of Economics and Law; Foreign candidates who meet the language proficiency standards according to the requirements of the training program and major.
Subject 2 is considered excellent and talented candidates from high schools (1 student from the group of 5 students with the highest average score of 3 years of high school recommended by the high school principal).
Subject 3 considers candidates from the list of 149 high schools given priority for admission to Ho Chi Minh City National University.
Category 4 considers candidates with an International Baccalaureate (IB)/A-level certificate or SAT or ACT certificate.
Method 2 : Admission based on the results of the 2025 Ho Chi Minh City National University's Competency Assessment Test (CAT).

Method 3 : Admission based on high school graduation exam results in 2025.

This year, the school uses 6 subject combinations for admission to all majors/specializations and methods. Specifically, they include: math-physics-chemistry (A00), math-English-literature (D01), math-English-physics (A01), math-English-chemistry (D07), math-English-computer science (X26), math-English-economiceducation and law (X25).
Register for admission from June 15
From June 15 to July 5, candidates can access the website: https://dkxtdhcq.uel.edu.vn to submit documents and evidence as required by the admission methods. Note that candidates must provide evidence for admission online and not send documents by post .
From July 16 to 5:00 p.m. on July 28, candidates will register their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's Admissions Portal.
According to school regulations, there is no difference in admission scores between combinations or between preference orders when applying to the same major/specialization/program.
For candidates who are eligible to participate in the admission process in multiple methods or groups of admission subjects, when registering for a program/major, all groups of subjects will be considered simultaneously to ensure the highest chance of admission.
In case there are many candidates with the same admission score at the admission threshold, the school will use the secondary criteria of the order of wishes (wish 1 is the highest wish) registered to select the successful candidates.
It is expected that the school's guaranteed entrance threshold will be announced immediately after the 2025 high school graduation exam results are available.
The school will implement the equivalent conversion of the input threshold and admission score between the methods and admission combinations in 2025 according to the percentile method guided by the Ministry of Education and Training and Ho Chi Minh City National University (the school does not convert the admission score of each candidate to a common scale for admission).
Estimated tuition fees for full-time students in 2025
The University of Economics and Law (Ho Chi Minh City National University) announced the expected tuition fees for full-time students of the 2025 course. Accordingly, in the 2025-2026 school year, the school will collect 31.5-65 million VND/student depending on the program. Tuition fees will be collected twice and the schedule for increasing in the following years is as follows:
The University of Economics and Law also allows candidates with international English certificates according to regulations to use the converted certificate score results to replace the corresponding English test score to consider the total score of 3 graduation exams according to the admission subject group. In addition, candidates with English certificates can still register for the English graduation exam and use the bonus point policy for admission. The school does not simultaneously apply the addition of bonus points and the conversion of English certificate scores.
