Tay Ninh Youth: Many outstanding results in patriotic emulation movement and reward work

In the period of 2020-2025, the emulation and reward work of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tay Ninh province continues to be widely implemented with many innovations in content and organization methods.

Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province continuously launch and implement exciting emulation movements to improve operational efficiency and create positive changes in the awareness of cadres and youth union members.

Volunteer activities help promote patriotic emulation movements among youth union members.

Launching emulation movements associated with honoring typical advanced individuals and groups has always been identified as a key task, closely directed and implemented synchronously at all levels of the Youth Union. Thanks to that, patriotic emulation movements have increasingly spread strongly, creating motivation for cadres, union members, and youth to promote the spirit of initiative, volunteerism, and creativity in all areas of social life.

However, during this period, the Covid-19 pandemic occurred, causing significant impacts on the activities and emulation movements of the Youth Union. The organization of emulation movements and mass gathering activities were interrupted or the implementation form had to be adjusted to suit the reality.

Faced with these difficulties, the Youth Union chapters at all levels in the province have proactively and flexibly innovated methods of organizing movements, applying information technology to maintain activities, promoting the spirit of emulation through online platforms and social networks. In particular, during the tense period of the epidemic, many youth volunteer movements to join the frontline of the fight against the epidemic and support the community have been strongly launched, becoming bright spots in the emulation and reward work.

Tay Ninh Youth Union promotes volunteer activities to encourage union members and young people to participate in emulation and reward movements.

To promote the emulation and reward movement, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee has directed the Youth Union chapters at all levels to strengthen propaganda and widely deploy documents on innovation in emulation and reward work such as: Directive No. 34-CT/TW, dated April 7, 2014 of the Politburo on continuing to innovate emulation and reward work; Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW, dated May 18, 2021 of the Politburo on continuing to implement Directive 05-CT/TW of the Politburo on "Promoting studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and lifestyle"; Directive No. 41-CT/TW, dated December 29, 2024 of the Politburo on strengthening the Party's leadership in emulation and reward work in the new situation...

At the same time, focus on launching the movement through many innovative and creative forms such as compiling propaganda content using infographic design and posting on the website, Fanpage of the Provincial Youth Union and district, town and city Youth Unions; and activities of branches and associations.

In addition, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee continues to implement revolutionary action movements to promote the pioneering, voluntary and creative role of young people in building and defending the Fatherland; and programs to accompany young people.

In particular, the focus is on the movements "Youth Volunteers", "Creative Youth", the program "Accompanying young people in starting a business", the movement "Tay Ninh Youth join hands to build new countryside", the emulation movement "Creative Youth" ... have created a vibrant competitive atmosphere among young people in all fields, contributing to the enthusiastic celebration of important political events, anniversaries of the country, locality, of the Union, Association, Team and effectively implementing the political tasks of the locality and unit.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee commended typical and advanced collectives in the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work at units and localities.

With the efforts in directing and coordinating the implementation from all levels of the Youth Union, over the past 5 years, the patriotic emulation movement and the reward work of the province's youth have achieved many outstanding results. In particular, the awareness of the Youth Union cadres, members and youth about the benefits of the patriotic emulation movement has had many positive changes.

Youth Unions at all levels in the province have increased creativity in organizing emulation movements, ensuring practicality and effectiveness, attracting a large number of young people to participate. The role of Party committees and unions at all levels in orienting and supporting emulation movements has been enhanced, ensuring close coordination.

During the 2020-2025 period, the Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee proposed the Central Youth Union Emulation and Reward Council to award certificates of merit to 171 collectives and 320 individuals with outstanding achievements in Youth Union and Association work; awarded 11 emulation flags and 48 "For the Young Generation" Medals, 4 "Brave Youth" Badges; 43 Youth Volunteer Medals, 36 "Excellent Leader" Badges; proposed the Provincial People's Committee Chairman to award 22 emulation flags and certificates of merit to 516 collectives and 1,007 individuals with outstanding achievements in Youth Union, Association, Team work and youth movements.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee reviewed and awarded certificates of merit to 955 groups and 2,179 individuals with outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union, Association, Team and competitions and festivals; and awarded certificates to 83 groups and 311 individuals.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee commended collectives and individuals who performed well in the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work.

In addition, the Provincial Youth Union was awarded a certificate of merit by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for its many outstanding achievements in the emulation movement organized and launched by the Provincial People's Committee; and was awarded a certificate of merit by the Central Executive Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union for its many outstanding achievements in the work of the Youth Union and the youth movement.

In order to honor typical advanced examples in the patriotic emulation movement and reward work, at the conference, the Provincial Youth Union Executive Committee awarded certificates of merit to 8 collectives and 9 individuals with outstanding achievements, who are typical advanced examples in the emulation movement of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Tay Ninh province in the period 2020-2025.

The Provincial Youth Union Standing Committee also launched a competition to achieve achievements to celebrate important national events and called on individuals and collectives to continue to promote their exemplary role in the patriotic emulation movement and commendation work at units and localities.
