According to the Department of Food Safety, on April 22, a surprise inspection team of the Department of Food Safety inspected AM Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Trading Development Company Limited, located at 54A, Lane 192 Le Trong Tan, Khuong Mai Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi.
AM Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Trading Development Company Limited is the trader responsible for the health protection food product An Vi Moc Linh. This product has been registered for announcement since 2021 and is manufactured at Bao Nguyen Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company (Dong Van I Industrial Park, Dong Van Ward, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province).
At the time of inspection, the inspection team did not see the company's signboard, did not see any product display, and there were no business activities at this address. The Food Safety Department is coordinating with the Hanoi Department of Finance to inspect and handle the matter according to the law.
While the Food Safety Department is coordinating with relevant authorities to handle the case, the Food Safety Department recommends that consumers do not buy or use the above food products.
Previously on April 21, many residents living in the Nguyen Lan area, Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi were surprised to discover a large number of health protection food products scattered on the sidewalk. Among these products, the majority were An Vi Moc Linh products.
The packaging clearly states that the product is manufactured by AM Pharmaceutical and Cosmetic Trading Development Company Limited, located at 54A, Lane 192, Le Trong Tan, Khuong Mai Ward, Thanh Xuan District, Hanoi, and Bao Nguyen Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company, located at Dong Van I Industrial Park, Dong Van Ward, Duy Tien Town, Ha Nam Province.
Recently, on many roads and landfills in localities, people were surprised to discover a series of products that were advertised as "miracle drugs", "specialties", "traditional fish sauce"... being illegally dumped and thrown away.
The products being thrown away like trash are also a wake-up call about the lax management in some localities, of e-commerce platforms, and the ease with which consumers believe in unverified advertisements.
