Hue University of Education awarded degrees to more than 300 PhDs and Masters

GD&TĐ - On July 15, Hue University of Education held the 2nd Graduation and Degree Awarding Ceremony for new PhDs and Masters.

Attending the ceremony, on behalf of Hue University, there were Dr. Bui Van Loi - Deputy Secretary in charge of the Party Committee, Deputy Director in charge of Hue University and representatives of leaders of the Departments under Hue University.

On behalf of the University of Education, there were: Dr. Le Ho Son, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Principal, and comrades in the Party Committee, Board of Directors; representatives of leaders of mass organizations, leaders of Faculties, Departments, and Centers.

The school's second batch of diplomas included 5 doctoral students completing their doctoral programs and 299 graduate students from courses 30, 31 and 32 completing their master's programs.

On behalf of the school, Dr. Le Ho Son - Principal congratulated the new PhDs and Masters who have successfully overcome the challenging journey of study and research to achieve proud results. In particular, he congratulated the 8 new Masters with the highest graduation results in the majors that were commended and awarded by the School.

From a modest start in 1991 with only 2 master's majors, Hue University of Education has now expanded to 12 doctoral majors and 30 master's majors. The school has successfully trained 33 graduate courses with nearly 7,000 master's graduates, and has had more than 140 PhD students successfully defend their doctoral theses, with a total of over 185 PhD students currently studying.
