After 3 days of competition with a vibrant spirit, the 2025 Army Rescue Sports Festival has completed all the program content, with great success. Athletes from 14 teams have contributed to fierce and dramatic competitions, conquering each achievement step in each stage of the competition.

Colonel Tran The Hien, Deputy Director of the Department of Rescue and Relief (General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army), Deputy Head of the Organizing Committee of the Sports Festival, assessed: During the entire course of the Sports Festival, the referee and jury subcommittee conducted the competition fairly, honestly and objectively. The athletes were always determined and made efforts to compete nobly and unitedly, while showing modesty in exchanging and learning, but sharing the same desire to win for the flag and tradition of their unit. The results of each competition were assessed accurately, honestly and objectively, creating trust for the teams participating in the Sports Festival.

At the closing ceremony, the Organizing Committee presented flags to the two first-place winning units of the two blocks (military regions and military branches): Military Region 3 Team and Army Corps 12 Team, along with seven second-place teams and five third-place teams.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Lieutenant General Thai Dai Ngoc congratulated the teams on their achievements in the sports festival; requested that units continue to thoroughly grasp the directives and resolutions of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense on civil defense tasks. Strengthen propaganda and education so that officers and soldiers are deeply aware of the role, functions and tasks of the Army in civil defense work. Regularly review, adjust and supplement plans and options; be ready with forces and means to participate in responding to, overcoming incidents, natural disasters, catastrophes and timely and effective search and rescue. Focus on ensuring the safety of officers and soldiers, especially those directly performing tasks.

Closely combine training with organizing exercises, improve the level of command organization, coordination, and response capacity to civil defense situations of the forces in difficult and complicated conditions. Pay attention to training and improving the qualifications of cadres at all levels, especially cadres at the squad level. Based on the results of the sports festival, the agencies continue to direct and guide units to learn from experience and train; research and apply the contents of the sports festival to apply to training to achieve the best results.
