In the context of many advantages and difficulties intertwined, in the past term, with innovative thinking, creativity and drastic actions of Party committees and commanders at all levels, GAET Corporation has made a clear mark in implementing defense tasks. Identifying military trade activities as one of the key political tasks, the unit has proactively selected international partners and reputable sources of goods, contributing to improving the quality and effectiveness of implementing key military technical programs.

Many contracts for the supply, repair and upgrading of weapons and technical equipment have been effectively implemented, meeting the requirements of the Army's modernization, while successfully implementing many technology transfer projects such as: High explosive production lines, artillery shell stuffing lines, steel, aluminum... for factories under the General Department of Defense Industry.

This achievement is not only a result of simple production and business, but also has political significance, affirming the role and mission of GAET in the strategy of developing a modern, dual-use defense industry.

In addition, GAET Corporation also closely coordinates with the functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense and the General Department of Defense Industry to carry out defense foreign affairs tasks, typically: Vietnam International Defense Exhibition in 2022, 2024 and participate in serving special political events such as parades and marches on the occasion of major national holidays. These efforts clearly demonstrate the role of GAET Corporation on the international integration front, contributing to building an increasingly strong defense potential.

In leading economic development, the Party Committee of the Corporation has focused on leading, directing and excellently performing the task of ensuring the supply of industrial explosives for transportation, irrigation and hydroelectric projects during the period of industrialization and modernization of the country. With a network of industrial explosives warehouses spread across 20 provinces and cities, GAET Corporation has provided complete drilling and blasting services for thousands of large projects.

In addition, the Corporation has actively expanded its market, especially since 2023, GAET Corporation has promoted the export of defense industrial products to international markets, with a value of tens of millions of USD per year. This is a strong step forward, affirming the integration capacity and internationalization capacity of military enterprises.

In the 2020-2025 term, with great efforts, the Corporation's production and business activities have maintained a fast and stable growth rate, with total revenue growing at an average of 13.3% per year; total profit growing at an average of 6.6% per year. In particular, attention to improving working conditions, caring for the material and spiritual life of officers, employees and workers has always been a top priority, with an average income growth of more than 9.93% per year, creating jobs and stable income for workers.

Social welfare programs, cultural and sports activities are promoted, contributing to creating a friendly and cohesive working environment, helping each individual feel secure in their dedication. These achievements not only originate from a sharp and creative production and business strategy, but also from the competitive spirit of overcoming difficulties of all officers, employees and workers of GAET Corporation.

  Affirming the role of political core and comprehensive leadership

The achievements that GAET Corporation has achieved in the past term all stem from the correct and timely leadership of the Corporation's Party Committee. What is clear in the past term is that the Corporation's Party Committee has proactively innovated in leadership methods, strengthened discipline and unit order, promoted production and business activities, and created a combined strength in the entire Party Committee.

Focus on leading the two tasks of combining economy with defense, defense with economy in parallel. Focus on "difficult tasks", flexibly adapt to the market, innovate management models, improve competitiveness, and expand domestic and foreign markets.

Promoting the exemplary role of cadres and party members in performing all tasks, the Party Committee of the Corporation focuses on Party building in terms of politics, ideology, ethics, organization and cadres, especially inspection and supervision. In particular, it highlights the exemplary role and responsibility of leaders of Party committees at all levels.

In the 2020-2025 term, Party committees and inspection committees at all levels have conducted inspections when there were signs of violations by Party committees and Party members. Focusing on resolving petitions, denunciations, and complaints; reviewing decisions and strictly and promptly handling cases of Party discipline violations. This is identified as one of the important measures to strengthen, build and rectify the Party, improve the leadership capacity and fighting strength of the Party Committee of the Corporation, ensuring the stable and strong development of the unit.

In addition, implementing the general policy of the Party, State and Army, the Party Committee of the Corporation is actively reporting on the restructuring project of the apparatus, associated with building a strategy for developing production and business to ensure leanness and improve operational efficiency in the leadership and management of the unit.

One of the key factors that create the strength of GAET Corporation is to always identify people as the most important factor for the success of the enterprise. Therefore, the Corporation pays special attention to developing human resources and taking care of the material and spiritual life of employees. GAET has a policy to encourage employees with high professional qualifications, technical skills, and good skills, while creating every opportunity to strive and develop for staff and workers to attract and retain talent. That is the factor that creates the internal motivation for GAET Corporation to make a strong breakthrough, adapting flexibly to the domestic and international markets.

In the 2020-2025 term, with many outstanding achievements, GAET Corporation continues to affirm the mettle of a steadfast defense enterprise in the face of challenges, ready to break through on a new path. The 6th Congress of the GAET Corporation Party Committee, term 2025-2030 is an important milestone, demonstrating the determination to build a clean and strong Party Committee; a comprehensive, exemplary and typical strong unit. With a clear strategic orientation, a spirit of constant innovation and aspiration to rise, GAET Corporation aims to become a leading defense - security enterprise, contributing to the building of a modern dual-use defense industry, meeting the requirements of building a revolutionary, disciplined, elite and modern Vietnam People's Army.
