DNVN - According to the Da Nang Statistical Office, real estate business services in the area in the first 8 months of 2025 increased sharply compared to the same period in 2024 thanks to the recovery in investment demand and the attraction of large planning projects after the merger.

In August and the first 8 months of 2025, trade and service activities in Da Nang continued to record a positive recovery trend, affirming its pivotal role in the post-merger economic structure. The retail and wholesale markets maintained stable growth, reflecting the expansion of consumer and production demand.

The Regal Complex luxury complex project was just started on September 2 in Ngu Hanh Son ward (Da Nang city), bordering the old Quang Nam province.

The tourism sector continues to be vibrant thanks to a series of cultural and entertainment events and stimulus programs, creating a strong ripple effect on the accommodation, food and beverage and travel industries. Other service groups such as real estate, education , healthcare and social support still maintain a stable growth trend, contributing to diversifying the service structure.

The transportation, warehousing, postal and delivery sectors continue to promote the advantages of Da Nang City as the logistics center of the Central region, well meeting the needs of goods circulation, travel and e-commerce.

According to the Da Nang Statistical Office, the picture of trade, services and transportation in August and the first 8 months of 2025 shows a sustainable recovery trend, making an important contribution to consolidating the city's position as the leading trade, service, tourism and logistics center in the Central region.

Notably, according to this agency, real estate business services in the area in August decreased compared to the previous month due to cautious market sentiment before the new land price frame. However, compared to the same period in 2024, it still increased sharply thanks to the recovery of investment demand and the attraction of large planning projects after the merger.

Specifically, total revenue from other services in August is estimated at nearly VND 4,800 billion, down 4.5% compared to the previous month but still up more than 38% over the same period in 2024. Of which, real estate business services reached more than VND 1,700 billion, down nearly 14% compared to the previous month but up more than 76% over the same period.

In the first 8 months of 2025, the total revenue of other service industries is more than 37,000 billion VND, an increase of 48.5% over the same period in 2024. Real estate business services alone continue to lead in revenue scale with nearly 13,600 billion VND (+108.4%); followed by arts and entertainment services with more than 6,200 billion VND (+29.2%); education and training with 4,500 billion VND (+39.5%); administrative and support services with nearly 3,900 billion VND (+18.2%); health care and social assistance with more than 3,200 billion VND (+21.5%).

Revenue from housing and land in the city in the first 8 months of 2025 reached more than VND 4,900 billion, accounting for 13.7% of total revenue, a sharp increase of 71.5% over the same period. A major contributor to this revenue is the auction of land use rights in prime locations associated with the progress of many infrastructure projects and new urban areas.

“Although the market is still affected by policy adjustments and legal procedures, the long-term prospects for the expansion of Da Nang's real estate service industry are very positive thanks to its geographical location, increasingly complete infrastructure, and continued strong investment flows into the area bordering the old Da Nang - Quang Nam,” said the Da Nang Statistical Office.
