Da Nang tourism earns over 2,200 billion VND on September 2 holiday

DNVN - Total tourism revenue in Da Nang City during the 4-day September 2 holiday this year reached more than 2,200 billion VND, an increase of nearly 30% over the same period last year.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang said that the total number of visitors to the city during the September 2 holiday this year (from August 30 to September 2) reached more than 620,000, an increase of 24% over the same period in 2024. Of which, international visitors are estimated at more than 168,000, an increase of nearly 50%; domestic visitors are estimated at more than 452,000, an increase of 17%. Total tourism revenue reached more than VND 2,200 billion, an increase of nearly 30% over the same period last year.

Foreign tourists come to visit and relax at Nui Than Tai Hot Spring Park ( Da Nang ) during the September 2nd holiday this year.

The average room occupancy rate in the whole city is about 55 - 60%. Of which, the occupancy rate of 4-5 star hotels and equivalent is 65-70%; many 4-5 star hotels in An Hai ward, Ngu Hanh Son ward, Hoi An Dong ward, Hoi An have an occupancy rate of over 80%.

From August 29 to September 2, there were 687 flights to Da Nang, with an average frequency of 137 flights/day (an increase of 18.4% over the same period in 2024). Of which, there were 395 domestic flights (an increase of 22.7%), with an average frequency of 79 flights/day; 292 international flights (an increase of 14.7%), with an average frequency of 58 - 59 flights/day. In addition, there were 34 domestic flights to Chu Lai airport, equivalent to the same period in 2024.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Da Nang also said that according to the shipping company's registration plan, it is expected that on September 3, the international cruise ship Star Voyager will bring 1,500 tourists to visit the city.
