Deploying high school education tasks for the 2025-2026 school year

On August 23, the Department of Education and Training held a conference to summarize the 2024-2025 school year and deploy tasks for the 2025-2026 school year at the high school level.

Assessing the 2024-2025 school year, the implementation of the general education program was carried out synchronously and effectively. The arrangement and assignment of managers, teachers, and the network of schools and classes continued to be streamlined and appropriate. The rate of national standard schools met the set targets. Facilities and teaching equipment continued to be supplemented; socialization of education was focused on and promoted; non-public education was initially encouraged to develop. The quality of mass education and key education was increasingly improved. At the conference, delegates discussed solutions to remove difficulties and overcome limitations of the previous school year, while effectively implementing the task of improving the quality of high school education in the new school year 2025-2026.

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training requested units and schools to focus on preparing well the conditions for the new school year 2025-2026. Including preparing well the conditions for the opening of the new school year, ensuring adequate facilities, minimum teaching equipment, textbooks for students before entering the new school year; developing an educational plan to organize 2 sessions/day according to the instructions of the Ministry and the Department of Education and Training to ensure quality, suitable to the actual conditions of the school; drastically implementing solutions to improve the average score of the high school graduation exam in 2026; continuing to organize training, improving the quantity and quality of excellent students at the provincial level, especially at the national level; paying attention to creating clear, focused, key changes in the application of information technology, digital transformation, especially AI in management and teaching; strengthening school discipline, building school culture; educating students on ideology, ethics, lifestyle, life skills...
