On the afternoon of July 11, the Center for Research and Application of Population Data and Citizen Identification (RAR Center, Ministry of Public Security ) signed a contract to deploy electronic authentication services through VNeID on 9Pay e-wallet.
According to the Ministry of Public Security, the event marks an important step forward in the process of improving user experience, ensuring compliance with the law, building a safe digital environment and contributing to promoting digital transformation in the financial sector.
From now on, 9Pay e-wallet users will have their identity verified and authenticated through VNeID when performing KYC.
The three main functions integrated into the application include: verifying identity information via the VNeID application of the Ministry of Public Security; verifying the user's face with data in the National Database; allowing users to log into the application through consensus on the VNeID application.
Users who already have a level 2 VNeID account when performing KYC identification will be suggested to connect to VNeID.
