Over 1.8 billion VND to support local industrial promotion projects, phase I, 2025

(KGO) - On the afternoon of March 31, the Department of Industry and Trade of Kien Giang province held a conference to implement the decisions of the People's Committee of Kien Giang province on approving the first phase of local industrial promotion projects in 2025, with a total budget of over 1.8 billion VND.

According to the decisions, 12 local industrial promotion projects were approved for support with a total budget of over 1.8 billion VND. Of the 12 industrial promotion projects, An Bien district has 1 project, Kien Luong district has 1 project, Giang Thanh district has 1 project, An Minh district has 1 project, Vinh Thuan district has 1 project, Hon Dat district has 2 projects, Giong Rieng district has 2 projects and Phu Quoc city has 3 projects.

12 local industrial promotion projects focus on supporting investment in advanced machinery and equipment for the production of products such as unburnt bricks, steel-hulled barges and barges, bird's nest products, frozen seafood, handicrafts, fruit juices, and fish sauce production. Support showrooms, introduce and promote typical rural industrial products at the regional level and typical rural industrial products at the provincial level.
