Awarding scholarships to poor students who overcome difficulties in Than Sa and Dong Hy communes

On the afternoon of August 28, the Department of Education and Training, the Provincial Newspaper, Radio and Television, and VNPT Thai Nguyen coordinated to award the "VNPT - Wings of Dreams" scholarship in Than Sa and Dong Hy communes.

Representative of VNPT Thai Nguyen awarded scholarship to Hoang Quoc Hung, Minh Lap Secondary School, Dong Hy commune.

At the program, the Organizing Committee awarded 2 scholarships (each worth 5 million VND) to the following students: Trieu Nguyen Cong, Than Sa Primary School, Than Sa Commune and Hoang Quoc Hung, Minh Lap Secondary School, Dong Hy Commune. Despite their difficult family circumstances, in the 2024-2025 school year, the students all made efforts to overcome difficulties and achieve high results in their studies and school movements.

Student Trieu Nguyen Cong, Than Sa Primary School, received a scholarship from the program.

The Organizing Committee also awarded 10 gifts (each worth 500,000 VND) to poor students who overcame difficulties in the two above localities.

The “VNPT - Wings of Dreams” scholarship is a meaningful program held annually since 2013 to help students with especially difficult circumstances, with good academic achievements, and to motivate them to continue going to school.
