Accordingly, the Department of Construction requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment and other units to give their opinions on the emission levels of vehicles currently operating in Ho Chi Minh City. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to raising emission standards; there are regulations on criteria for each area and region with high pollution that need to limit traffic organization for vehicles with high emissions as a basis for localities to implement.
At the same time, the Department of Agriculture and Environment has opinions on identifying and disclosing information or guiding localities to identify and disclose information for high emission areas. From there, the Department of Agriculture and Environment will propose solutions to control vehicle emissions in the city. In addition, this department needs to review, guide regulations, and advise on land policies to serve the development of parking infrastructure and charging stations for green vehicles.
The Department of Construction requested the Department of Industry and Trade and other units to provide opinions on solutions to control the production, import and supply of fuel for motor vehicles with quality in accordance with national technical regulations on gasoline, diesel fuel, and biofuel to meet the roadmap for applying emission standards for motor vehicles in the city. From there, propose solutions to control the operation of technology vehicles in Ho Chi Minh City.
The Institute for Development Research and other units have opinions on green transformation solutions for the transportation sector in Ho Chi Minh City.
