Total mobilized capital increased by 9.7%

According to information from the State Bank of Vietnam, Region 2 Branch, by the end of July 2025, the total mobilized capital of credit institutions in Dong Nai province is estimated at 458 trillion VND, an increase of 9.7% compared to the beginning of 2025.

Of which, mobilization from residential deposits is estimated at 234.6 trillion VND, accounting for more than 51.2% of the total mobilized capital of credit institutions in the province. Mobilization of deposits from economic organizations is estimated at about 221 trillion VND, accounting for nearly 48.3% of the total mobilized capital of credit institutions in the province. The rest is mobilized from promissory notes, bonds and other valuable papers.

In the first 7 months of 2025, the mobilization of deposits from economic organizations in the area increased sharply, while the deposit of residents tended to decrease compared to the same period last year. The average interest rate of VND deposits at credit institutions was generally at 0.1-0.3%/year for demand deposits and deposits with terms of less than 1 month; from 3.7-4.2%/year for deposits with terms from 1 month to less than 6 months; 4.8-5%/year for deposits with terms from 6 months to 12 months; from 5.1-5.3%/year for deposits with terms from over 12 months to 24 months.
