State Bank donates 10 billion VND for social security in Da Nang, Hue and Quang Ngai

Attending the program were Party Central Committee member, Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong; Standing Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang City Party Committee Nguyen Dinh Vinh; Vice Chairman of the Da Nang City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong.

Accordingly, the State Bank of Vietnam donated 3 billion VND to Da Nang city (1 billion VND to eliminate temporary housing, 2 billion VND for social security); 3 billion VND to Hue city (1.5 billion VND to eliminate temporary housing, 1.5 billion VND for social security); 4 billion VND to Quang Ngai province for social security.

The above amount is taken from the contribution of one day's salary of officials, civil servants, public employees and workers in the banking sector to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households, policy families and carry out social security work.

Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Nguyen Thi Hong said that recently, all cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers in the banking sector have actively responded to the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses for poor households and policy families through many practical actions.

The banking industry hopes that this resource will help localities soon complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and better implement social security work in the area.

On behalf of the leaders of Da Nang city, Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee Tran Chi Cuong respectfully thanked the sentiments and hearts of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam and all officers, civil servants and employees of the banking sector.

At the same time, he emphasized that this is a valuable resource to help Da Nang continue to promote the program of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses and provide better care for policy beneficiaries. The city is committed to using the funding for the right purpose and effectively, contributing to spreading the profound humanitarian meaning of the program.
