Rural and agricultural census in 2025 from July 1

From July 1 to 30, Tay Ninh Provincial Statistics Office will conduct the 2025 rural and agricultural census according to Decision No. 484/QD-TTg dated June 7, 2024 of the Prime Minister on organizing the 2025 rural and agricultural census.

The 2025 Rural and Agricultural Census (2025 Rural and Agricultural Census) aims to collect basic information on agriculture, forestry, fisheries (FFF) and rural areas to meet the needs of compiling relevant statistical indicators under the National Statistical Indicator System; compiling socio -economic indicators to serve the assessment of the current situation, analysis of change trends, development of plans and strategies for rural development, the FFF sector and improving the living standards of rural residents nationwide as well as in each locality.

The survey also serves to assess the scale and structure of rural labor and NLTS labor; changes in rural infrastructure; the implementation of some contents of national programs and targets in the rural and NLTS sector; serves international comparisons of rural and NLTS sector indicators. This is also the result to build a database on rural and NLTS to serve in-depth research; serves as a sampling frame for some annual periodic surveys on the NLTS sector and meets other statistical requirements.

The 2025 Census is conducted nationwide. The survey subjects include: workers participating in NLTS activities; households participating in NLTS activities; farms, enterprises, and cooperatives participating in NLTS activities; and Commune People's Committees.

The census was conducted simultaneously using two methods of collecting information: direct interviews and indirect information collection from survey units.

Accordingly, the direct interview method uses electronic survey forms (CAPI forms) for the list information collection form, household survey form and farm survey form; using paper survey forms for survey units managed by the Ministry of National Defense . The indirect information collection method will be through the use of electronic survey forms (Webform forms) for the survey unit to provide information itself.
