According to the report at the conference, in the first 6 months of 2025, despite carrying out its tasks in difficult conditions, under the leadership and direction of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense ; with the support and assistance of local Party committees, authorities and people, Army Corps 15 has successfully completed its assigned tasks. Mass mobilization work, helping people to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty, develop socio-economics, build new rural areas and coordinate with local Party committees and authorities to maintain political security and social order and safety have been effectively implemented.
The Party Committee and Command of the 15th Corps have thoroughly grasped and implemented the commands, directives and plans on military and national defense work in 2025. They directed agencies and units to review, adjust and supplement plans A2 and A4; combat plans to protect agencies and units; and on-duty and combat readiness work to protect agencies, units and areas to be seriously implemented.
In the field of production and business, Party committees and commanders at all levels have led and directed the organization and synchronous implementation of solutions for business administration and financial management; proactively developed and implemented flexible plans that are close to requirements and tasks; organized the purchase of appropriate materials and equipment for production; regularly updated market price information and effectively consumed products. As a result, the production value in the first 6 months of the year reached 1,018 billion VND, an increase of 21.83% over the same period , and the average income per capita reached more than 8 million VND/month.
Along with that, the movement of “Practicing skills, competing for good workers” is maintained regularly, thanks to which the professional level of the latex tapping and processing team is increasingly improved. Agencies and units actively cooperate to convert planting of trees suitable to soil and climate conditions; transfer science and technology, build sustainable forest management plans, grant forest certificates and product value chains for rubber plantations.
In addition, implementing the movement "The Army joins hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses", the Corps has supported the construction and repair of 357 houses with a total cost of nearly 17 billion VND; presented 23,000 gifts worth more than 9.5 billion VND to officers, soldiers, workers and people in difficult circumstances during holidays and Tet. In addition, since the beginning of the year, the Corps has organized 218 propaganda sessions, mobilizing people to comply with the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's policies and laws, issues related to policies for ethnic minorities, along with honoring and rewarding village elders, village chiefs, Party cell secretaries, and prestigious people in ethnic minority areas...
On this occasion, the Prime Minister awarded the Emulation Flag to 2 groups, the Ministry of National Defense awarded certificates of merit to 13 groups and 15 individuals for their outstanding achievements in work. The Commander of the 15th Army Corps awarded certificates of merit to 9 groups and 8 individuals for their outstanding achievements in production and business and ensuring national defense and security.
